The exhibition featured a selection of illustrations created between 2017 and 2025 as part of the Heritage of Timișoara project, an initiative of the Prin Banat Association dedicated to researching, documenting, and promoting the city’s architectural heritage.

The works are created by artists collaborating on the project and represent visual interpretations of iconic buildings in Timișoara, developed based on historical and architectural documentation.

Within the project, the illustrations served not only as an artistic endeavor but also as a tool for cultural mediation, facilitating an understanding of the heritage and bringing the public closer to the city’s history.

Some of the artists are alumni of the Faculty of Arts and Design in Timișoara, and the exhibition, hosted in the faculty’s Mansarda Gallery, marked the beginning of a series of activities carried out in partnership with FAD (Faculty of Arts and Design) as part of the Heritage of Timișoara 2026–2027 program.

Heritage of Timișoara is a long-term cultural program dedicated to the research, interpretation, and activation of the city’s architectural heritage, transforming research into cultural experiences accessible to the public through exhibitions, guided tours, urban activations, and educational programs.
